The visual essay on Sri Lankan arrchitect Geoffrey Bawa, doumenting the 9-days field studies in Sri Lanka which includs the site visit
and the academic exchange with several local architects,
architecture schools, and institutions. The outcome of the individual research practice presents as a series of visual documentation, hovering between Sri Lankan people’s daily life and modern architectures.
Focusing on the socially sustainable development in Södertälje through the co-presence of the isolated moments, isolated people and isolated places which co-exist in the city, this project intends to initiate an experimental attempt. The project also comes with an essay discussing around the concept of co-presence and how
public culture and space could be formed, based on Ann Legeby’s essay Patterns of Co-presence: Spatial configuration
and social segregation and other related texts, as a reflective investigation with the design.
Visual Essay
What is the scenery, what is the souvenir of traveling? Inspired by The Book of Disquiet, which describes the stillness and the seclusion in a life familiar, the project Theory of Souvenir conversely intends to seize the disingenuous solitude during the travel in an unacquainted city. What is the materiality which sensationally contacts with the tourists or outsiders?

Graphic Design
H Project is a graphical project received from Cheng-Han Yu for his licentiate thesis defense at Linköping Universitet. The poster design is applied as Cheng-Han’s thesis booklet cover, lab screen at school, Facebook and Instagram. It earned a great attention and made a clear statement that being a academic worker is not normal, but how to be a academic worker with attitude is more than crucial.
